In the documentary 180° South,  director Chris Malloy takes us on a video adventure that covers the journey of Jeff Johnson from his home in California to to Patagonia, Chile. 180 degrees south

Chris modestly includes the subtitle: “Conquerers of the Useless,”  referring to the what WAS the easy come, easy go approach these wayfarers had about life in general, with no commitment to accomplish anything in particular as they lived for the day. That was BEFORE they made their trip to Patagonia. The trip changed everything.

Fear of the unknown is the greatest fear of all. But we just went for it.”

It has often been said that life is in the journey, not the destination.  This documentary is about a small group of men who took a trip to a faraway place and got during their journey they got  transformed by the renewing of their mind.
